Desa Sidetapa

On Tuesday, September 11, 2024, a group of Australian tourists visited Sidetapa Village, Buleleng, Bali, under the management of the local Pokdarwis (Tourism Awareness Group) My Darling. The visit was organized by Putu Pariasa, who is fondly called Mr. Parik by the international tourists.

During the visit, the tourists were taken to the Bamboo Corner, a local attraction managed by the chairman of Pokdarwis My Darling, Mr. Putu Sinar. The Bamboo Corner showcased the village's distinctive bamboo craftsmanship and offered a serene rural atmosphere, which captivated the visitors.

The tourists were also introduced to unique local products, such as the traditional way of drinking coffee with Balinese sugar, providing them with a distinctive taste of Sidetapa. Additionally, they had the chance to sample brem buah, a fermented fruit drink produced by the local community. This local specialty reflects the village’s rich culinary heritage.

The tourists were enthusiastic about their experience and deeply impressed by the warmth and authenticity of Sidetapa Village. Putu Pariasa mentioned that the goal of the visit was to promote the village’s tourism potential while offering tourists an authentic cultural experience.

The Pokdarwis My Darling hopes that through these international visits, Sidetapa Village will gain greater recognition as a unique tourism destination, offering memorable cultural, natural, and local product experiences.
